Molly K. Burke is celebrated for her "magical mezzo voice," she has captivated audiences with her performances in diverse roles. Notable among her achievements is the portrayal of Meg Page in Verdi’s Falstaff, where her voice has been described as “full, rich caressing mezzo that is expansive” She has also brought to life characters such as Mrs. Grosse in Britten’s Turn of the Screw, Elizabeth Proctor in Ward’s Crucible, Queen Leda in Die Liebe der Danae, and the Mother in Menotti's Amahl and the Night Visitors.

 

In addition to her stage presence, Molly has delved into the world of contemporary classical music, embracing roles like Ada Lovelace in Kamala Sankaram’s The Infinite Energy of Ada Lovelace and Lois Graham in Elizabeth Rudolph’s Petticoats and Sliderules (premiere). Her versatility extends to covering the role of Fricka in The Valkyrie

Embracing her identity as a queer opera music creator, Molly has actively engaged in collaborative endeavors with composers, writers, directors, and fellow singers. Her involvement in workshopping and creating new experimental pieces reflects her dedication to pushing boundaries in contemporary classical music.
